Windows Products Available to Customers
CIMS desktop applications are available for the windows environment. These products are no longer being enhanced as of September 2007. They are stable and rich in feature and customers currently using these products can continue to do so. All future development is in the replacement web/browser based applications.
Currently Teacher Connect is available and contains all of the features of Teacher Helper. Teachers utilizing Teacher Helper should look to the new browser application as replacement.
Admin Connect is forecasted to be available early 2008 and will replace all current feature of Admin Helper PLUS provide many new items across product (staff, finances, student).
The new method for displaying pictures within CIMS using the F23 key is to utilize a display program residing on the PC. This program allows districts to utilize either/both FTP and/or mapped drives to display pictures. Setup on each desktop will allow flexibility for where you wish for the student/employee pictures to reside (iSeries or Local school server).
